It is with mixed emotions that we announce the upcoming retirement of Scott Pyle, our Regional Sales Manager for the Southwest – effective November 1, 2024.

Since joining Electralloy in June 2014, and with a career in the steel industry spanning back to September 1985, Scott has consistently exemplified professionalism, deep industry knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. His ability to forge strong, lasting relationships with our customers has been a cornerstone of his success, significantly contributing to the growth and prosperity of our Southwest region.

In reflecting on his time at Electralloy, Scott shared some of his most memorable experiences:

“The customer outings, without a doubt, were always a highlight. Getting together with fellow employees and customers, sharing laughs, and enjoying each other's company made those moments truly memorable."

 What Will You Miss the Most? 

"I’ll definitely miss the people. I’ve always enjoyed the conversations with my fellow employees, especially those I didn’t get a chance to connect with on a weekly basis. The camaraderie here is something special."

 What Are Your Plans for Retirement?

"I’m excited to spend more quality time with Paula, enjoy classic rock concerts, indulge in fishing, and explore my passion for woodworking. Traveling is also on the agenda, along with visiting my dad and family more frequently.”

As Scott embarks on this new chapter of his life, we want to recognize his impact on our company and the broader industry. His dedication, leadership, and friendship have left an indelible mark on all of us, and he will always be considered a valued member of the G. O. Carlson, Inc. family.
