Electralloy recently joined other local employers to provide juniors at Rocky Groove High School with job interview training to help the students prepare for their future job searches.
Mock interviews were conducted and company representatives graded students on various facets of their interview performance, including preparation, knowledge and communication skills. The feedback was returned to the program administrator and then shared with students.
Rocky Grove Principal Kelly Hart said the event provides students “with valuable life skills and workplace preparation.” She expressed appreciation to employers for taking the time to provide the students with the experience.
The event was conducted under the guidelines of the Career Education and Work Standards, as set by the state Board of Education’s regulations of required education for all Pennsylvania students.
