Electralloy, a leading custom producer of specialty and stainless steels has announced the retirement of Kathy Shumsky.
Ms. Shumsky retires from her position as Manager of Forged Products (billets and bars) after having spent 18 years with Electralloy. In addition to her duties at Electralloy, Kathy has been an active member of the forging community and had served as the Chairperson of the Forging Industry Association Marketing Committee for 2 terms.
Stepping in to fill her position will be long-time employee and current Inside Sales Supervisor, Deborah Craig. Ms. Craig will work with Electralloyís inside sales team of Diane Fogle, Alvin Proper, Rebecca Rudolph and Chad Bowler to provide service to Electralloyís billet customers.

She is well respected by her customers and co-workers because of her unique blend of experience, personality and work ethic. Her enthusiasm and attention to customer service details will be missed. We all wish her all the best," said Electralloy President, Tracy Rudolph.
Ms. Shumsky began her career in 1975 as an inside salesperson and later as the Manager of Inside Sales at McInnes Steel Company of Corry, PA before joining Electralloy in August, 1995.
Kathy said, ìMy career at Electralloy has been a wonderful experience. I really enjoy the people I work with and have made many lasting friendships with customers over the years. I will certainly miss everyone but it will be nice to have the time for new adventures.î
Kathyís retirement plans include visiting relatives and friends, traveling and seeing the world, and volunteer work in the Corry community.
