Good food and good laughs proved to be a great combination when the 2010 GOC/Electralloy Company Outing was held Saturday July 31 at JRís Comedy Club in Erie, Pennsylvania. More than 205 GOC/ Electralloy employees and their guests enjoyed a delicious dinner and a great live show featuring two very funny and talented comics.
The comedians that entertained the crowd were Tony Daro and Mike Bobbitt. Tony has appeared on "The Tonight Show", "The Late Show with David Letterman", "Politically Incorrect" and "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn". Tony was also nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on "Saturday Night Live".
Mike is the founding member of the Desperate Houseguys comedy show, a contributing writer to the ìComplete Idiotís Guide to Jokesî, was voted Best of the Fest in the Detroit International Comedy Festival, and can be heard on XM/Sirius satellite radio.
Those in attendance had a great evening full of camaraderie and laughter. A round of applause should also go to Committee members Jeremy Bateman, Mark Motter, Tim Roessner, Sherman Tarr, Fred C. Travaglini, Tom Wood and Linda Anderson who worked diligently to make this outing successful and memorable.
